The FA Cup & FA Vase Competitions – Season 2013-14
The closing date for applications to be received for the above Competition is Monday 1 April 2013 and that Clubs will be able to make an online application on our website towards the end of February. Clubs are reminded of the entry criteria for entering the above Competitions in that the rules are linked to the ground grading requirements of The FA National League System. Below are the entry requirements for each competition:-
FA Cup
Clubs below Step 1-5 in The FA National League System must have a ground grade which conforms to a “G” grade (appropriate to Step 6) or higher as at 31 March 2013. By way of further explanation:-
Clubs to be accepted
Clubs in Step 6 finishing in a league position 1-4 of the current season, subject to the ground conforming to a “G” grade as at 31 March 2013.
Clubs to be accepted, subject to available places
Clubs in Step 6 finishing in a league position below 4th place of the current season, subject to the ground conforming to a “G” grade as at 31 March 2013.
Please note that the minimum grade will be raised to “F” grade (appropriate to Step 5) and will operate from season 2015-16.
FA Vase
Clubs in Step 5 and below in The FA National League System must have a ground grade which conforms to a “H” grade (appropriate to entry to Step 6) or higher as at 31 March 2013.
